Terms of service

The terms on which Ingata PharmaPlus is provided to a pharmacy. Last updated October 2026.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between Ingata Tech, which provides Ingata PharmaPlus, and the pharmacy or organisation that subscribes to it (“the pharmacy”). Staff use the product under the pharmacy’s subscription; they are not separate parties to this agreement.

2. Accounts and access

There is no public sign-up. Accounts are created by a System Administrator within the pharmacy, who assigns each one a role. The pharmacy is responsible for:

  • Who it grants accounts to, and with which role.
  • Removing access when someone leaves.
  • Actions taken under its accounts. Each account belongs to a named person and every change is recorded against it, so accounts must not be shared.

3. What the pharmacy may use it for

Operating its own pharmacy business. The pharmacy agrees not to attempt to reach another organisation’s data, probe or interfere with the service’s security, resell or sublicense access, or use the product to do anything unlawful.

4. Data ownership

The pharmacy’s data remains the pharmacy’s. Entering it into Ingata PharmaPlus grants us only the permission needed to operate the service on the pharmacy’s behalf — to store it, process it, back it up and show it back. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train anything. On request, the pharmacy can obtain an export of its data.

How that data is handled in detail is set out in the privacy policy.

5. Professional and regulatory responsibility stays with the pharmacy

This is the clause that matters most in a pharmacy, so it is stated plainly: Ingata PharmaPlus is a record-keeping and operations system. It does not practise pharmacy.

  • It does not provide clinical advice. Decisions about what is appropriate for a patient — interactions, contraindications, substitutions, dosage — remain the professional judgement of the dispensing pharmacist.
  • Its controls are support, not a substitute for professional care. It prevents dispensing expired and withdrawn products and allocates short-dated batches first, but the pharmacy remains responsible for what leaves its counter.
  • Regulatory obligations — licensing, controlled-substance records, inspections, tax filing — remain the pharmacy’s. The product keeps records to support them; it does not discharge them.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and to give notice before planned maintenance. No specific uptime figure is committed to in these terms; where one is required, it belongs in a separate written agreement. Features may be added, changed or removed as the product develops, and material changes affecting day-to-day use will be notified in advance.

7. Fees

Fees, billing period and notice are set out in the pharmacy’s own written quotation or order form, which takes precedence over anything on this website. The pricing page describes what each plan contains and does not itself constitute an offer.

8. Ending the agreement

The pharmacy may stop using the service in line with the notice period in its own agreement. We may suspend access where use breaches section 3 or fees remain unpaid after notice. On termination the pharmacy may request an export of its data before it is removed, subject to its own retention obligations.

9. Liability

Nothing here limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. The pharmacy remains responsible for the professional and regulatory matters described in section 5.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the product and the business develop. Material changes will be notified before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

11. Questions

Anything unclear here is worth asking about before signing rather than afterwards — get in touch.

This page describes how the system behaves. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it makes no claim of compliance with any specific regulation. Before launch, have counsel confirm the wording and add the governing jurisdiction. In particular, sections 9 and 10 need a named governing law and jurisdiction, which have deliberately been left out rather than guessed at.
