Built so the books follow the counter
Most pharmacy software sells a till and treats accounting as an export. That single choice is what produces the month-end reconciliation every pharmacy owner recognises.
Why we built it
Two systems describing the same events
A pharmacy runs one system for what was dispensed and what is on the shelf, and another for what the business owns and owes. When they are separate, every month ends with somebody reconciling them — and the reconciliation is where the errors live, because by then the stock has moved and nobody remembers which batch sold at which cost.

What that changes
Four things that follow from one decision
Stock arrives with its liability
Receiving debits inventory and credits the supplier’s payable in the same database transaction. One cannot succeed without the other.
Cost of goods is the real cost
Each batch keeps its own purchase price, and dispensing uses the price of the batch that actually left the shelf.
A payable says who it is owed to
Entries on a personal account must name their counterparty, so a supplier statement is answerable line by line.
History stays readable
Corrections are posted as balancing entries rather than edits. What happened remains what the record says.
Access
7 roles, each with an explicit permission set
Checked on every request, so what a screen offers and what the server allows cannot drift apart. One role can see everything and change nothing — which is what oversight actually needs.
Top Manager
Oversight of the whole pharmacy, read only — can see everything and change nothing
System Administrator
System configuration, users, roles, and access control
Pharmacist
Medicine management, prescription verification, dispensing, and sales
Accountant
Financial transactions, journals, expenses, and accounting reports
Hospital Staff
Patient and prescription-related activities
Insurance Controller
Insurance members, eligibility, claims, payments, reconciliation
FDA/Regulatory Inspector
Inspection, compliance, and regulatory monitoring
How it is organised
10 modules covering the counter, stock and supply, money and books, people and oversight. Several outlets can run under one organisation: stock, sales and journal entries carry the branch that raised them, staff assigned to a branch see only that branch, and the restriction is applied on the server rather than hidden in the interface.
What it is not
It is not a general accounting package with a pharmacy skin, and not a till with a reporting tab. It is also not self-service: there is no public sign-up, because every account in a regulated pharmacy should belong to a named person with a known role, created deliberately by an administrator.
Who builds it
Ingata PharmaPlus is built by Ingata Tech. The product is actively developed, and the quickest way to judge whether it fits is a walkthrough against your own product list, branches and suppliers.
